Spring Move-In

Â鶹´«Ã½ City University Housing and Residence Life looks forward to welcoming our new and returning residents for the Spring 2024 semester!

On-campus residents both new and returning will arrive on campus for move-in from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, through Sunday, Jan. 7. If you are planning to return after Jan. 7, please email [email protected].

Only incoming Physician Assistant students are allowed to check in on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. Schedule a move-in time between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. by emailing [email protected]. Requests will need to be made within 48 hours or later.

Checking In

When students arrive on campus to check-in for the spring term they will go to the designated locations that correlate with their assigned residential community.

  • Reminder: The cafeteria will open on Jan. 5 for lunch.

A: Residents will arrive on campus park outside the building and come into the building to check in and receive their key. Once checked in the student will be able to move back into their room.

A: Residents will park in a park in the parking garage or non-visitor parking space and then go to the front desk in the Methodist hall Housing Office to check in and receive their key.

  • New Spring Residents will check in at the Housing Office within the Cokesbury Clubhouse to pick up your key and paperwork. You are able to arrive 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 5 to Jan. 7.
  • Returning residents do not have a central check-in and will only need to email their RA upon arrival. This is due to the apartments not closing over the break this academic year.

A: There will not be any move-in volunteers for spring move-in.

A: There will be carts available for individuals to check out for Methodist Hall and Walker Hall which can be checked out at their front desks. It is the responsibility of the student moving in to clean the cart before and after use.

A: Each student that is moving in is permitted to bring move-in helpers. There is not a limit on helpers.

  • If you moved into Walker and Banning Hall once you have unloaded your vehicle please park in the parking lot in front of Draper Hall or on Noble drive.
  • If you reside in Methodist Hall please park in any of the non-visitor parking spots around the building or within the two level parking garage that is under Methodist Hall.

A: Unless approved at least 48 hours ahead of time by the Housing and Residence Life Department you will be asked to come back the following day to move-in during the Move-In time window.

A: For all new students, your Housing Assignment will emailed to your student Â鶹´«Ã½ email account in mid December.

A: For any students that are not able to move into their spring assignments by the first day of Â鶹´«Ã½ Jan. 10 must notify Housing beforehand by emailing [email protected].

A: The Cafeteria and Alvin’s Market will open starting Friday, Jan. 5, at dinner. Kitchen 1904 will open for service starting Tuesday, Jan. 9.
