The Awards of Excellence recognize women for outstanding volunteer service in Â鶹´«Ã½. Honorees make up The Societies of Â鶹´«Ã½ City University, which have raised more than $5 million for Â鶹´«Ã½ City University since 1988. More than 130 women have been honored with Awards of Excellence in that time, and proceeds from the awards luncheon support academic programs and student scholarships at Â鶹´«Ã½.

The luncheon is traditionally held every spring and features performances from Â鶹´«Ã½ arts students.
