Willson Lectures Reach Many

The Wimberly School of Religion hosted nearly 1,000 people for last month’s Willson Lectures featuring Nadia Bolz-Weber.

Bolz-Weber lectured on “Civil Disobedience by Young Women in the Bible” and “500 Years of Reformation: Now What?” in addition to a Q & A and book signing. Some religion majors attended lunch with Bolz-Weber and spoke with her about her work in the church.

Bolz-Weber is the founding ELCA pastor of House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, Colorado. She has written several bestselling books, including “Pastrix: the Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint” and “Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People.” She has also been featured in BBC World Service, The Washington Post, NPR’s Morning Edition, Fresh Air, More Magazine, The Daily Beast, and on CNN.
