Theatre students light up SkyDance

The ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University School of Theatre's lighting design students presented their projects on the SkyDance Bridge downtown Monday night. The projects were paired with original soundtracks by the Bass School of Music's composition students.

It was the final projects for students in the upper-level lighting course titled "Museum, Fashion, and Special Event Lighting Design." The class explores the transferable skills that students learn in the course of study in theatrical lighting design.

The program included β€œMorning Dew,” lighting design by Travis Baldwin with music composed by Takayoshi Yago; β€œThree Horror Vignettes,” lighting design by Bradley Taylor with music composed by Sean Erwin; β€œWithin My Reach,” lighting design by Kristen Eudy with music featuring the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ choir composed by Or Kribos; β€œCascades,” lighting design by Caleb Cates with music composed by John Harvey; and β€œCan’t Turn Me Around,” lighting design by Sergio Sanchez with music composed by Charlotte Dumesnil.
