Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Law to Host Innocence Project Event

The Â鶹´«Ã½ Innocence Project (OKIP) at the Â鶹´«Ã½ City University School of Law is hosting an event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15 with recent exonorees Malcolm Scott and De’Marchoe Carpenter.

On May 9, Scott and Carpenter, with the help of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Innocence Project, were found innocent of a crime in which they were convicted nearly 22 years earlier.

During the event at the Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Law, Scott and Carpenter will talk about their fight for justice. The conversation will be led by OKIP Executive Director Vicki Behenna.
