The Distinguished Artists ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ will feature a concert with conductor Gerard Schwarz at 8 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Petree Recital Hall.

Schwarz will present a multimedia retrospective of lessons culled from his decades as an innovator on the podium, including 26 years at the helm of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. His ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ concert will draw upon his new book βBehind the Baton,β his extensive recording catalogue, newly released 30-CD boxed set, and current work with The All-Star Orchestra and Khan Academy, which encourages greater understanding and enjoyment of classical music at all levels.
