The Letβs Talk About It book discussion series at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University will continue at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 with βThe Beekeeper of Aleppo,β a novel by British Cypriot writer Christina Lefteri.
The discussion in Walker Center room 151 will be led by Imad Enchassi, a religion professor at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ and senior imam at the Islamic Society of Greater OKC.
This seasonβs theme is βImmigration Stories in Contemporary Literature: Suspended Between Borders.β
βThe Beekeeper of Aleppoβ dramatizes the story of refugees fleeing the chaos of violent devastation in their homeland of Syria, and journeying across international borders and through a succession of relocation camps as they try to emigrate to England.
