Biography
Joshua Gaub is a trombonist in the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City area and serves as adjunct instructor of trombone at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City University. In addition to his work at Âé¶¹´«Ã½, Mr. Gaub also serves as visiting instructor of trombone at the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½, an adjunct instructor of music at Langston University and has run his own private studio since 2019.
Originally from Washington state, Joshua moved to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City in 2011 and earned his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Christian University and his Master's in Trombone Performance from Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City University.
Mr. Gaub has enjoyed many performance opportunities, often performing with the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City Philharmonic. He has also performed with Chamber Music Amarillo, the Bozeman Symphony, the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra and as Bass Trombone for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Composer's Orchestra. Mr. Gaub is an active freelance trombonist, and has played in many different chamber events in the OKC area as well as large concerts at the Paycom Center.
