First Female Chief at Â鶹´«Ã½<\/h2>\r\n

Â鶹´«Ã½ City University has a new chief of police and for the first time in Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s history, a woman is leading the department! Jennifer Rodgers brings 28 years of law enforcement experience with the Â鶹´«Ã½ City Police Department to the job. She is an alumna, holding a Master of Arts in criminal justice from Â鶹´«Ã½. She also served as adjunct professor in Â鶹´«Ã½ City University’s criminal justice program.

The Â鶹´«Ã½ City Police Department Honor Guard presented the colors and student Kimberly Dychman sang the National Anthem.
<\/p>\r\n

President Henry read the Oath of Honor and performed the official pinning, joking that he had never pinned anyone through a bulletproof vest before.
